The bank is signed EmpirePLATE XXX: View of Axilla, Thorax, etc. The Deltoid M. is preserved, as is also the Pectoralis Major, except its Clavicular Portion, which is removed in order to exhibit the underlying structures. This anatomy plate print was taken directly from the 19th century book Henke's Atlas of Surgical Anatomy, A Series of Plates Illustrating The Application of Anatomy to Medicine and Surgery as translated and edited by W. A. Rothacker, M. D., who was
