Women's Raffia Loafers, Black Size:10 About Our Suzani & IkatOur Moroccan Raffia Loafers are made from Raffia grass that is grown in Madagascar and then imported to the seaside town of Essaouira, on the west coast of Morocco. Local women in Essaouira treat and dye the Raffia grasses before weaving them into our shoes. Moroccans believe that the natural fibers in the Raffia, along with the woven construction, allows for the skin to breathe and results in healthier skin.
