A very well preserved 1st Fallschirm Panzer Division Hermann Gring EM NCOs overseas cap, constructed of smooth black wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side paneling. Stitched into the peak is an insignia in the form of a black wool patch bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika. The eagle insignia measures 70 mm (w) x 45 mm (h).
